Create a list of files from an Excel folder

This simple Excel file allows you to create a list (in alphabetical order) of all files from a folder of your choice with just the press of a button:

- “Create List” button : By clicking this button, a prompt window will open asking you to select the folder of your choice, which will be used to create the file list containing the files.

- File Type drop-down menu : In case you want to create a list of specific file types, this drop-down menu allows you to choose the most common file endings. By choosing "Custom" you can type any file you wish to include in the new prompt window. The default selection of "All" lists all file types.

- “Clear List” button : By clicking this button, the list will be deleted.

IMPORTANT: You must enable macros in Excel and make sure no special characters are used in the folder path! To display the correct file names, please use English letters for the files, and the names should be lowercase, and in the desktop the location of the files
